Homecoming 2009 started out with spirit week. Monday was fake an injury day. Billy Day had a knife in his chest and Alice Krier was in a wheelchair. Some of the junior high students were in crutches.
Tuesday was t-shirt signing day and everybody participated. Wednesday was twin day. Jacky and Mak were voted best look-a-likes for the high school. Junior high winners were Maddi Guerra, Canaan Endicott, and Shelby Luerman.
Thursday was decade day. Justin Arnspiger was dressed as Ringo Star and Billy Day was a 70's Hippie. In junior high, Kale Baker dressed up like an 80's tennis player.
Friday was blue, gold, and white day. Alice Krier was the most festive student in high school and Kale Baker won for junior high.
The day before the game, Ingalls called and said they couldn't come to the game due to sickness. Unfortunately the game was cancelled, but we still had a parade and pep rally that day as is tradition. The winning float was the junior class and eighth grade came in second.
The King and Queen crowning has been postponed until October 29th at 6:15 pm right before the Ashland Bluejays take on the South Central Timberwolves.
