AHS Volleyball to Play in Sub-State
The AHS volleyball team is 4 and 28 this year, but won't be playing like an underdog this Saturday at the Regional volleyball tournament.
Although the 2010 volleyball squad only has four wins, they have consistently played some very good teams tight matches. The fifth-seeded Ashland team is a dangerous team for opponents because the Ashland record is deceiving. The Lady Jays could easily sneak up on an unsuspecting team and ruin their plans.
The girls' first game in the tournament is Match #1 at 2:00 versus #4 Macksville (15-16). The tournament this year will be held at South Central. Other teams in the tourney are #1 St. John (33-4), #2 South Central (26-7), #3 Spearville (28-8), and #6 Fairfield.
